The Sharp LL-T17A4-B 17-inch TFT LCD monitor combines standard performance features with a sleek, highly adjustable desktop design, resulting in a large size at a value price. With 1,280 x 1,024 resolution, 430:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits of brightness, and analog RGB signal input, the LL-T17A4-B competes well with others in it's class. And, with two 1-watt speakers and a headphone jack, you can add sound to the monitor's performance, for a complete multimedia experience.
The LL-T17A4-B offers height, tilt, and swivel adjustments and VESA compliant wall mounting. Viewing angles are 170 degrees horizontally and 150 degrees vertically, permitting flexible placement in your home or office.
Onscreen display controls are offered in eight languages. Automatic screen adjustments include clock, phase, and horizontal and vertical position. A Kensington security lock (cable not included) provides peace of mind. The LL-T17A4-B is PC and Mac compatible and comes backed by a three-year warranty on parts and labor.

The LL-T17A4 is Sharp's high resolution, high contrast monitor that's ideal for office and professional applications. The screen is equipped with a high performance TFT surface that achieves a contrast ratio of 430:1, so pictures and even small letters are clearly legible.
Color matching is achieved with sRGB compatible peripheral equipment, and also has a "vivid" mode for dynamic primary colors. Built-in stereo speakers with volume control provide true multimedia flexibility.

Not Too bad for the price,

I bought this Sharp monitor for my home setup. At work, I sit in front of my machine for the entire day, staring at a NEC AccuSync LCD7v, which is very nice. Since it was my own money, I took a chance on the Sharp. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. It has about the same narrow bezel around the display and the height is somewhat adjustable. It's not super easy to adjust, but I don't need to change it very often. One of my criteria for these monitors is NOT to have the stupid speakers built into the display, which I find to be an entire waste of real estate, so I was glad that it didn't have it. The native 1280x1024 resolution is crisp and clean, and the refresh is quick....no evident ghosting. If I had to compare my more expensive NEC and the Sharp, I would say they're the same, except the thickness. The Sharp is a bit thicker, but who cares since the base takes up a bunch of room anyway! It would be nice to have a DVI connector, but for the price, I can't really complain about that.Pros: Good resolution, crisp display, inexpensive, no tin-can speakers.
