5.0 out of 5 stars "Best CD/MD Mini-System for it's time!", August 5, 2009
By

This review is from: Sharp MDC2 Compact Stereo System with CD to MD Recording (Electronics)
The sharp MD-C2 was probably the best user-friendly mini-system of it's time, which was not so long ago! I can say this 'cause I own one and it's still functioning and looking "like new"! It provides plenty of power with a built in fan and 50 watts per channel(rms), to be exact! It's a shame the Minidisc format didn't go far here in the US. The sound was actually almost undistiguishable that to the Compact-disc format. The sound of an MD player will and always be superior to an MP3. Until today, MP3 still has it's glitches, and loses it's dynamics with the treble and bass fall-outs! Surprisingly MD still has it's place in a recording studio! Hope this will stay as the standard with studio recording artist. I hope I'm not the only one that finds favor on this format. But, what ever may happen? MD will always be the best in digital editing and equaled sound quality to the CD.
