wow if ever there was a company good at making microwaves,well, let me tell ya folks-this is it! Sharp has done it again with the R310jw the programs are easy to operate. Theres simple buttons to do quik heating, popping corn, defrosting and the large display is easy for those with glasses to see even without glasses, my mother proved it. I had a sharp brand the first time around and I only had to have it fixed one time. I love the quit running of this unit living in a small apartment its easy to quitly fix dinner.

I am very happy with this microwave. I have to cook everything using a lot less time than I ever had to and the turn table is great. The buttons are easy to use and I just love it.

It is a good microwave. We still have to get used to how fast it heats! The one thing I don't like is the keyboard is not completely explanatory...I have to keep referring to the instruction manual.

Our previous microwave was breaking down (doing some very strange things...) and we needed a new one, but didn't have much money to purchase one. We searched Amazon and some other sites to find reviews, and Sharp Microwaves usually scored high. Well, we give this one FIVE STARS for many reasons. 1) Price. We got it for $49.99 with free shipping (because of $30 instant credit for using an Amazon Visa) 2) Features/Functions - this unit has lots of built in features, where you hit a button or two and it starts cooking for a pre-determined time and power level. 3) It even looks cool. :-)

Great overall value. Perfect for our growing family of 5, soon to be 6. We use our microwave a lot!

I had a Sharp 700w which heated water in 1.52 minutes. At work, the GE Sensor 1100 watt heats water in 1 minute. So, I bought the Sharp R-310JW and it heats water in 2 minutes! I kindly wrote the company which told me not to use the WARMING option. I kindly wrote back and told them I was always using full power. They never replied again. I used to soften a half gallon ice cream in 11 seconds on the old 700w oven, but this new one takes 20 seconds ON FULL POWER. Sharp is DULL indeed.

This microwave works great. More powerful than most microwaves in my experience. A cockroach somehow snuck through the vents/holes and is stuck in the digital display, though.
