Conveniently designed for small or home offices, the Sharp UX-CL220 includes both a plain-paper fax machine and a cordless phone, complete with separate charger. The charger allows you to accommodate spacious offices or even place the parts in separate rooms and still receive complete functionality from both.

The fax machine uses a 14.4 Kpbs modem to transmit pages; that translates to approximately six seconds per letter-sized page. Its 24-page memory acts as a backup to the 50-sheet paper capacity; if you run out of paper when you're away from the office, you can forget about missing any important faxes. Thirty-station speed dial allows you to send your faxes to your regular clients at the touch of a button. You can even run off quick copies--up to 99 at a time from a single original.

The cordless phone operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency with a digital spread spectrum signal, supplying a clear, reliable connection with plenty of room to roam from the base. It's caller ID-ready, with subscription to local service. A digital answering system is built into the base, supplying 15 minutes of message time in a single mailbox. Sharp includes a 90-day warranty covering parts and service.
