I purchased this inkjet fax to replace one that used thermal paper. Setup was clear and straightforward. For a basic fax/copier it provides a number of useful options including secure printing from memory. I also found that the memory is ample so that there is little risk of overflow. Operation is quiet, and the inkjet printing is quick and crisp. Overall I found this to be a very good value for under $100. I

This fax machine was a dream compared to our ten-year old machine we had been using in my office. That is until it just stopped working and we sent it to a Sharp Service center for repair. I was told that the cluth on the paper feed was broken(through no fault of our own)and that the repairs would cost 130.00. Fifty dollars more than we paid for it. We had this for 8 months and the warranty runs out after 90 days. How convenient.

It is very easy to use and is everything it claims to be. Very user friendly for this non-office type mom.

The automatic feed stops working after about 3 months. How do you feel about re-dialing for each page you send?

I recently had an inexpensive Sharp fax that finally died on me. I was a little relutant to purchase another Sharp product but I read the reviews and product features and decided to buy the Sharp UXB700E anyway.

It turns out to be an excellent fax machine. Easy to set up, easy to use and does a great job. I love the way the faxes come out and rest on the wire tray (I though the wire tray was a little strange looking and awkward but it's quite useful.) I was also tired of buying film for the old fax. This one uses an ink cartridge which is much easier to replace and to buy. Very nice!

Generally, this fax machine is poor. Also, it is an "ink hog". I've finally decided to stop using this machine, as it is always out of ink. I get lots of junk faxes, which deplete ink for no reason. Carts can be refilled, but quality is poor. For the price of the machine, you can get a USRobotics USB fax modem, The software with this package (BVR) works great. You can preview your faxes, and decide not to print. Thats what I'm using now!

Used the Sharp UX-510 fax machines for years but they discontinued. This model replaced it and works just as well if not better. The best thing about this model is that it uses ink cartridges instead of fax film. I highly recommend for home office or small business.

Did not work out of box, help line could not get it to work. Had to drive almost an hour to get it serviced and lucky enough to have the teck work on it right then. Half an hour later it was working [a gear was out of place and paper would not feed].

I wanted a decent ink jet fax/copier for home use; this is it.

This machine was bought as a replacement for the Sharp UXB. It works well and I recommend it.
