The Sharp VL-AH260U Viewcam combines Hi8 video quality with a power zoom lens and full-range autofocus. Its 3-inch screen display and high-capacity battery pack make it user friendly and efficient. It features a 16x zoom lens that can be digitally enhanced to 400x. You can take still pictures and store them onto the included 8 MB SmartMedia card with three different photo modes: still, snap, and strobe.

Additional features on this Hi8 Viewcam are eight changeable titles, a fader function, self-recording mode, manual focus, and instant playback with color and sound. An infrared remote control is supplied so you have the freedom to sit back and watch while your Viewcam does the work. Its compact size and manageable weight make it ideal for travel.

I love this video camera. My previous video camera wasn't working and I borrowed a friend's Sharp video camera for a wedding I was attending. Loved the ease of use--easy to see for recording, easy to recharge, and easy to set up on the tv to copy to a video tape. When I went to purchase one, I was discouraged by the sales people saying I should get something else. I left the store and ordered through Amazon. I have been using it, and am very glad this is the camera I purchased.

After a while of searching for a camera, I finally found this one. A friend of mine has it, and I have seen her use it. I bought it and am very pleased with how easy it is to use and how much fun I can have with it. This is truly a great camera.
