The Sharp DKA1 i-Elegance docking system turns your personal iPod device into a stereo jukebox for all your friends and family to enjoy. The DK-A1 i-Elegance offers full range speaker systems with side firing subwoofers that illuminate, AM/FM digital tuner and alarm clock function with snooze. This system is packed with features and cool designs. The i-Elegance docking system is compatible with all generations of the Apple iPod. Included with the docking system are well insert adaptors that guarantee a snug fit for your iPod. Plays and Charges your iPod. Whenever your iPod is connected to the docking system, it will charge. The i-Elegance docking system features front firing full range speakers along with side firing subwoofers with blue illumination. For added bass response the subwoofers produce low-end frequencies for deep bass sound. The i-Elegance docking system features an electronic equalizer that customizes the sound based on the genre of music you are listening to. The electronic EQ has a 6-step mode that lets you set the perfect sound for any type of music. The Esound feature is a digital signal processing technology that improves the quality of compressed digital music. The i-Elegance features a digital AM/FM tuner that let you listen to your favorite radio stations. In fact, you can program up to 32 of your favorite radio stations. Your favorite radio station is always there when you need it! The i-Elegance features an alarm clock functions that allow you to wake up to your favorite iPod selections or a buzzing alarm. In addition to standard clock and alarm functions, you can also fall asleep to music and both your iPod and i-Elegance system will automatically shut down at a predetermined time. Sweet dreams! For added convenience, the i-Elegance features a small, thin, compact remotes that lets you control all the functions of your i-Elegance docking system. In addition, the remote controls some of the features of your iPod as well.

I have had this Music System for about two weeks now and it is awesome. I love that it lights up on the sides but that I can also turn off the side lights at night. Fabulous and great price! Would recommend to anyone.

This was returned because it did not work with the iPod Touch 2nd generation. Although it said it was compatible.

This music system has great sound. VERY loud and clear. The only problem is that the dock does not work as far as charging new iPhones or IPods. BUT there is a solution. There are many adapters that you can buy that will convert the iPhone dock so it charges. A little hassle but it is worth it for this great stereo.
