5.0 out of 5 stars Relax - it's not some dread disease..., August 27, 2008
This review is from: Sharpening The Aging Mind - Methods, Tips & Tricks to Keep Your Mind Super Sharp (Boomer Book Series) (Kindle Edition)
This book relieved my anxieties over what I thought was a failing memory. It explained the difference between memory lapses and those caused merely by distraction! It further taught me how to remedy my bad habits - the ones that were causing my perceived memory problems. What a relief - and what a great tool to help me sharpen my memory. I'd recommend this one - to anyone at any age.

5.0 out of 5 stars I was delighted by the way my memory seemed to improve, May 21, 2008
This review is from: Sharpening The Aging Mind - Methods, Tips & Tricks to Keep Your Mind Super Sharp (Boomer Book Series) (Kindle Edition)
as soon as I realized what really was behind my 'forgetting things.' Use Sharpening the Aging mind to find out that my memory is still in tact and that my previous 'lapses' were not due to Alzhiermer's, instead due to my pre-occupation with other things. This book helped me overcome this by teaching me a few, very valuable tricks to avoid being distracted when I'm doing something I need to remember later.

More About the Author

I do not have a literary background, though I did a year of graduate study at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, my real background is medical. I graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1964 and practiced for 44 years, first as a General Practitioner, and the last 30 as an E.R. doc. I began writing as an avocation to help me unwind after a long day in the E.R. My writing went in two directions, one Historical Fiction, and the other Medical Self-Help, my forte translating medical information into easily understood lay language. In recent years that Self-Help has been more in the direction of Baby Boomer and senior health and emotional problems.
My Historical Novels deal mainly with Judaical, Holocaust, and Biblical History. Most of my books are both in print and on Amazon Kindle. Please enjoy! With over 40 books published by 10 different publishers I've been named Colorado's most prolific author. Google Othniel Seiden
