Sharper Image Fog-Free 'Power Zoom' Shower Mirror/Radio

I picked this mirror up last night and used it for the first time this morning and it worked flawlessly. The LED lights hit your face just right, the radio reception was great in the shower. The mirror did fog up when I first got in the shower, but after one swipe of my hand it cleared and never fogged up again. The suction cups are very strong, not cheap at all. I found it to be awesome that I could shave in the shower, saving me time and the mess I make in our sink.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son, this has not even been in the shower yet. I have to return it because the magnifier motor has stopped working although the radio and light still work. What a disappointment.

I got this for christmas. I love to listen to music while i am in the shower. Except every year i have to buy a new shoower radio. This one really sucked because it broke after two weeks. I wouldnt consider it broken it orks it just take 4 new batteries every day i couldnt afford to put 4 new batteries every day. so i have been bringing my radio ever since not good.

The switch to run on the radio went out after 2 months of use. This thing will EAT batteries too. I had to replace mine about every 2 months. The mirror is fog free for the first couple months and then BAM it won't be. I swear this thing must have a 4 month warranty because after 4 months it turns to junk.

This shower radio deserves no stars.

Why?
* In less than one month, the power and light buttons quit working and were permanently stuck on.
* The analog radio cannot tune 50% of the channels a cheap digital radio can.
* When a channel is finally in tune, the heat of a shower is enough to make it go out of tune.
* The speaker sounds awful! Talk radio is bearable.

The only feature on this radio that works is the zooming, which I'd never use since it's so slow and sounds like it's going to break at any moment.

The radio has great volume and clear sound, The mirror zoom is terrific. Also the light is very bright. This is perfect for me, now I can shave and trim my beard without getting whiskers all over the sink while listening to my favorite radio station. I give it an A+

First off, I wouldn't waste time on getting anything like this with a radio for a man. They spend 10 minutes in the shower tops and by the time they get the radio on, they've turned it off again. The mirror itself does what it says-- the power zoom works fine and it does stay fog-free. However, water still condenses on the mirror and it does have to be wiped off in the middle of a hot shower, especially if you have a smaller bathroom. I bought this for my husband after he requested it as a last-minute Christmas gift, and if I'd had time I would have hunted down a regular fog-free mirror without all the bells and whistles. Overall this was a mediocre purchase at best and just about any other fog-free mirror is a much better value than this.
