This thing is the best $50 ive spent in a long time. Works the back muscles good in a kneeding action. And it doesnt get tired like my wife.

This is the type of quality you can expect from Sharper Image. I bought this
as a Christmas gift for a loved one with back problems and aches and I have heard
nothing but positive things from it. It will massage neck and back with rotating circles and also heat. It is very rare nowdays to find a product that actually does what it claims but this one does it all. I highly recommend this massager.

I have severe neck problems due to extremely high load of homework and compute-using. I bought this massager because of lots of positive reviews. However, I've found it not very satisfactory. The two rotating massager are rather hard and sometimes they hurt my bones. The heat is good, I can actually feel it. I like the circular motion but it's very limited. I can only massage very small part of my neck. there is no way you can massage your lower shoulder by using this product. Overall, it's ok to try it. I don't regret spending 70 dollars on it. It does relieve the pain at certain degree.

I have chronic neck pain, this thing works pretty good. It can be a bit intense at first. After the first time using it, I took a break for a couple of days before using it again (felt sore, but overall better). After that, my body got used to it and it was fine. I use it on my neck at the base of my skull and also the bottom part of my neck, near the shoulders. It increased the range of motion in my neck and decreased pain.

I need to turn the pillow upside-down to use it (maybe my neck is short for this thing?), which makes more difficult to access the remote control. If the cord on the remote was longer, that would help. I also wish that I could control how far apart the shiatsu balls are (make them closer to my spine). I would get a better massage that way, but it's workable for me. I also wish that the heat function was warmer (I have a shiatsu back massage unit, it's heat is warmer.) I love the length of the cord that plugs into the wall, it's really long.

I use the pillow while lying down in bed - I don't get enough pressure when using it in a chair. That's fine by me, I should be fully relaxed anyway. This is a very helpful item for me.

i think it messages to deep/ and hard but im a really thin lady but my boyfriend loves it. for him he says its perfect.

the heat isn't very hot but i think its the perfect amount.
you caan use it for anywere on the back including sholders.
also you can change the clockwise movement to counter clockwise.
i bought it for my low neck pains and it does the job.
also if its to hard then you can put a blanket over it.
i have been using it for a few months and it still does the job. (no issues)

Very happy I decided to get this massager pillow. Its small enough to take anywhere and it does a great job. The heat function is great as well. You can basically position this anywhere you want. Neck, shoulders, back, lower back... awesome. I would definitely purchase this as a gift for a loved one.

I read the prior reviews (when they were just 5 stars) and I was excited to get this product. Pulled the product out of the package. Liked the sleek black design, remote and it was a nice touch with the velcro strap for the extension cord. In addition the extension cord is pretty decent length. The remote cord could be longer though. I had issues with placement of the massager for different areas of the body. In addition the massager did not do a decent job unless you have total/full contact with the pillow. The vibration on this unit is only good if you use it with Shiatsu. Otherwise it's pretty much a joke. The shiatsu placement for the design is located at the top portion of the pillow and only runs circular there.

I guess this thing works as advertised, it has 2 massage heads that can vibrate and produce heat. But, does it really feel good - no. Was it relaxing - no. I tried it for about 15 minutes but no matter how I positioned it felt nothing worth while. I was actually more uncomfortable with this thing pushing against my neck than I was without it.

I don't know why some reviewers are saying that it is not strong enough (particularly on the vibrate). I don't know how Sharper Image instructs you how to lay your head on it but I put my head on the high side of the massager and it works great. If I try to put my head on the lower side then I can see what they are talking about. I particularly like that it shuts off automatically after 20 minutes.

PS - if you have a neck problem then be sure you set the direction of the shiatsu massager where it is moving UP your neck otherwise you are just aggravating your neck by compressing it.

I just got this today & so far Ahhhhhhh I have had a sore neck; base of scull area - & this felt so good there.
I also have back issues - & this felt wonderful.
I really like the options of heat, shiatsu, & vibrate. "*like the 3 together"
Also I like the auto turn off, because I think this could put me to sleep.

Only thing that would be nice is a control for - a little more or less pressure. But- still 5 stars- just hope the sharper image company reads this & adds those controls as it would make it even more Superior.

I will report back after using it for a while....


also to mention- I first ordered a homedics Shiatsu foot massager - It arrived cracked- (amazon took care of that lightening fast with a pick up the next day) I was able to try it out for the day I had it- It was okay - but- sort of odd to get your feet comfortable on the hard plastic- I actually liked it better behind my back/should area. but- only in a sitting up position.
So I decided to give this soft pillow one a try instead. "glad I did"
