I love the Sharpie oil based paint markers.
Gail L. Nobles
Other markers start washing off after a couple of uses, but these oil based markers hold up to repeated use after curing in the oven.
Donna J. Kelley
Will definitely be buying more when these run out.

I usually do not write reviews, mainly because I'm lazy. I have been using these pens for a couple of months and the work great. I work in manufacturing and I use these pens for writing on metal parts. They do a great job of writing in both raw metal and painted surfaces, even with dirt and oil present. The color is bright and noticeable, and the flow is consistent (as long as you keep the cap on while not in use) it drys quickly and does not easily come off. But the real reason that I'm writing this review, is because I just pulled the black marker out of the washer, which was full of my clothes and my dry-fit shirts. The cap stayed on during the entire washing cycle and not one drop of ink was spilled!!! I'm sure this is not a feature that Sharpie designed, but as usual, products that are well built surpass the manufactures claims in surprising ways.

p.s. if you ever leave the pen uncapped, just dip the tip on a little bit of alcohol (I usually use a water bottle cap) until the flow resumes and the alcohol turns the color of the pen!!!

Excellent markers, except they do not last a long time like the regular Sharpies.
After minimal use my black oil based Sharpie ran out of paint and the tip frayed....
so if you have a project consider purchasing multiples of the oil based Sharpie color that you need...

The paint in this marker flows well without leaking. It is fine enough to write with.

I loooove these Sharpie oil paint markers! I can draw or write with them very smoothly with no skipping or uneven lines. I've used them on glass ornaments, shell jewelry components, even on clear wine glasses! They dry very quickly so, if you mess up, your only option may be to paint over your 'mistake' but that can easily be done with a larger-tipped version of this same marker. I use this fine-point version (approximately 1/16th inch thick) to draw and paint my design, then use an extra-fine point to outline & finish it off. The extra-fine point pens also make it a cinch to sign your name on your work.

I used this to draw on a ceramic cup then bake it. It baked in and hasn't washed off (handwash only!) so i'm please with this product for what I used it for.

Used two sets of these. They are FINE but I have seen finer and if you write very small it will run together. However, they will mark on just about anything, glass, plastic even better than a permanent marker pin and will take more abuse (scuffing or finger oils).

Markers work great on surfaces as advertised, but the points are not what I'd consider as fine point. The stubby end will draw lines of at least eighth of an inch thick.
