A highlighter should contain ink that is light enough to allow the highlighted text to be read. This highlighter contains dark orange ink; it is difficult to read the underlying text.Personally, I prefer liquid ink highlighters (where you see the ink level) to ones like this that contain cotton wadding. A better product, also from Sharpie, is the Sharpie Accent Liquid Pen-Style Highlighters, 12 Fluorescent Orange Highlighters(24406).
