These highlighters were recommended to me by someone who does a lot of highlighting, so I figured I'd give them a try - I LOVE them. I love the color selection, the box they come in, and how much you can highlight with one pen - I am not even halfway done with any of them and they have been used many many times. The colors are crisp, the ink dries quickly, and I'll never go back to a generic highlighter again.

I review a lot of documents, anything peps that up is a treat. Something about the way the liquid ink (which you see in the barrel) flows from the chiseled felt-like tips makes marking a document with these puppies pretty cool. Its sort of like painting instead of highlighting. Great color selection too. Some of the colors are not as useful as others though. The dark purple/blue for example are a bit too dark for my tastes. The red is surprisingly good--would not have thought red would make a good highlighter color, but with these, it does quite well. The orange is crazy bold; light blue and green, not as useful as the red, orange, pink, yellow, and purple. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the tips to be just a touch wider, I find that the mark is often slightly less wide than the line of text I am highlighting.

these are great vibrant colors, make studying a lot more happier. they used to bleed a lot when you first start hi lighting but i think sharpie improved this feature on the newer ones as they don't bleed as much but still give great color. coral is my favorite in the pack and you can only get it buying it in bulk pack. great price too compared to buying them individually.

Some of the very dark colors - purple, red - are perhaps a little too dark to work well as highlighters. But the quality and color of these pens are otherwise great. They are stylish, bright, and fun. Very popular. Most of mine have already been stolen off my desk. That's a compliment for sure.

these highlighters run out quite fast -- i can highlight a textbook and three days later the ink is almost all gone.

it is great to make profits making and selling these highlighters, but it is not good for consumers.

also, after the ink runs out, there is a lot of plastic that get thrown away as trash.

the old style of Sanford highlighters can highlight textbook well, but the new Sharpie / Chisel type cannot. so I am forced to use these and pay a lot of money for them. the old style one can last three months without any problem, but it must be too slow for profit making selling them.
