I bought these to be used to decorate mugs for christmas presents (as I had seen on pintrest). The drawings didn't stay on even with washing by hand. Annoyed that I'm out the money.

these markers are great for writing the kids names' on their desks, it doesn't come off when you wash the desk. It will come off if you use a dry earse marker and wipe it off.

Works great for doing sharpie mugs, plain white mug and these markers, bake them in the oven at 350 for 30 mins and you have custom mugs!

I bought these to write the names of my students on the desk in the classroom. My students can't get the names off! And they have tried! But I can:) I can take an expo marker and color on top then I take a wipe and it comes off easily! Awesome

I bought these paint makers to decorate a pair of motivational jars. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, they write smooth on glass, and they do not bleed. I would recommend to anyone needing paint markers for a crafty project!

Got this idea from Pinterest- Have the kids write their names on their desks. They made all sorts of designs. Comes right off with a spritz of alcohol. Beautiful colors, smooth writing feel.

I bought these to paint on a glass I was giving as a gift. They were marvelous! However, when I was finished I put the cap on, turned them upside down (tip down) to use at another time. The other day, (about 7 months later) I went to use them again, and the tip was totally dried up and they would not work, not matter what I tred. I would say these are a one shot use. Needless to say I was really disappointed. I thought I could continue to use these over and over again. So do beware. I give them a 3 star because they were great for my initial project, but because they dry up after the first use, they were no good to use again.

We use these in bulk for our animal advocacy project TimmyStones.com - For us, we write on stones and rocks and these colors are bright, durable and easy to use. As with all paint pens, you have to prime these. I usually do that on a piece of cardboard like the back of the blister pack they come in. Shake then depress the nib several times with firm pressure until the paint comes to the tip. When you use them (after priming) be sure not to depress the tip while you are writing or decorating as this will end up damaging the tips and clumping the paint into a puddle on your artwork. These work on glass, metal, rock, wood, paper and pretty much anything else you can think of. The colors rock too!

Another thought - Sharpie has both oil based and water based paint pens. We have to use the oil based ones as these rocks we paint are outdoors and need to be durable. Make sure if you get the water-based markers that they are the right pens for your project.
