From the Manufacturer

Sharpie Markers

The Sharpie Fine Point marker was the first pen-style permanent marker of its kind to write on most surfaces from cardboard boxes to glass and, of course, paper. Since its inception in 1964, over 200 million markers have been produced… that’s enough for approximately two Sharpie markers per every household in America making it the #1 writing instrument brand in North America.

Today, Sharpie markers are still made with the same high quality ink that you’ve come to rely on and trust but are now available in over 30 unforgettable colors and numerous different tip sizes, making Sharpie the ultimate instrument of personal expression… letting you be heard, putting you at the center of your world, helping you express all the ideas, feelings, moods, and memories you have with absolute conviction and absolute passion. When you start with Sharpie, you never know where you’ll end up. That’s the wonder of creating something. And Sharpie will continue to help you bring out what’s inside yourself and share it with the world.

So uncap a Sharpie permanent marker and let the ideas flow!

Sharpies fine point is thick compared to real fine point.

Seriously, for $1.04 (price when I purchased them), even if one was broken, it would be a great deal. Needless to say, these are standard, fine-point non-water soluble permenant markers and live to their reputation. I use these for anything: Writing on boxes, labeling packages, making notes, sometimes drawing or doodling (even on people). But the price makes this even greater.

We always buy these in packs, because we have so many uses for them, in the home and in the office.

I mark all my legal files with these, which makes them visible across half a room...very convenient.
We mark food with these, especially in the freezer, as well as all medicines.

They have just become a part of our household...love my Sharpie!

Light and smooth.. And it's waterproof! Used it on my boy's water bottle. After 2 months and the marking is still as new.

I would also strongly recommend Sharpie highlighters found below

It's a classic Sharpie! Need more be said? I haven't come across many surfaces they cannot write on and they seem to last forever. I got an excellent deal on these so I figured why not pick up another pack. You can never have too many! I like to keep them everywhere from my cars, to backpacks, to kitchen and everywhere in between.

I use these Sharpie markers to color in the alopecia areata spots on my brunette head. Just move the long hair out of the way, and smear this on the fleshy spots. Works well for spots up to 3/4 inch; I have found that spots larger than that size tend to color in poorly and appear like somebody used magic marker on my head.

I have tried eyebrow pencils and Marks-A-Lot brand, but both of those run in rainstorms. I have streaks of black like ruined mascara down my neck when I have hit a downpour with those products. The Sharpie, conversely, stays in place and doesn't ruin my neck or my clothes.

When you first put this on, smudge it around with a paper towel; it has a working time of approximately thirty seconds, after which it cannot be blended on your skin. If I have a particularly nasty outbreak of "pecia", as we call it, I will have my wife apply to the back of my squash because there are so many spots that I cannot see them well by holding a mirror to the back of my head.

I will note that there is a faint odor of magic marker from this product for about the first hour or so after one applies it to their head skin. If there are plans for a dinner party, unless you want the hosts to think that you were wearing an advertising sandwich board all day, you might want to apply the Sharpie long before you leave the house.

When I sweat, the marker does get slightly mobile. What do I mean? If I lay back on a pillow, it will stain the pillow. This is particularly important, once again, at the dinner party. You will want to avoid high backed, upholstered chairs, or else you'll have a lot of 'splainin' to do, Ricky!

Finally, I have never had a lack of hair re-growth from the toxicity of this product on my head.
