It is not easy to find a marker that will mark plastic without smearing all over the place. I needed to draw and color green circles on 144 plastic eggs (made Yoshi eggs for my son's birthday party). Yes, the Sharpie did smudge if I wasn't careful. However, I found it to be quick drying, and most of my eggs turned out nicely. I only used one marker and it lasted the entire project without drying out.
