I admit, these pens are great for writing with a felt tip pen. These are nothing like "Ultra Fine Point" regular Sharpie Pens with a cap. These new pens never bleed through paper and feel comfortable throughout your pen stroke, i.e. if you like felt tip pens. But the friction during pen strokes is subtle, and very comfortable. I like the retractable feature though I almost never lose caps. The rubber "grip" makes it more comfortable for some people but I can always put separately purchased grips onto thinner pens, in spite of not preferring to.

One problem is I think they are overpriced. Second problem is I believe they are not as permanent as a standard Sharpie (e.g. a signature on back of CC may smear if not left to dry longer than a standard Sharpie. One more problem I noticed, which is not a surprise, is if you press too hard or get angry and misuse the pen by dabbing too hard, you might as well throw it away because the writing will suck afterward. A two-pack at Walmart is something like $5.64. A 12-pack here is currently just under $2.00 per pen. These are decent, cheap pens. However, I believe the Sharpie pens with caps at $1.00 per pen is worth the difference in price and a much better value.

These pens click, and they write awesome! THICK and BLACK, just like I like it.
However, if you bear down too hard while writing, the little felt tip, eventually slips up in to the metal casing. This renders the pen slightly awkward to write with, and makes the pen strokes not as thick and enjoyable.

I use these fine point Sharpie pens daily to write in my journal. For the money I think they are the best pen you can get. As an added bonus they will write on almost any surface (much like their bigger family members).
