A must for Shatner fans,

Ok, I admit it, I was a hardcore startrek fan for several years. My childhood was filled with starships, aliens and cool space battles. Yes, I am a girl.
As I grew up, this obsession waned significantly but I still have a great love for the wonderful William Shatner. What can I say, he makes me laugh. He is a caricature of himself and is well aware of it - he has made a lot of people happy and a lot of money by playing up to his slightly kooky, slightly unhinged behaviour! I bought this for my husband, although I was very pleased to be getting my own filthy hands on this book - it was well worth it. The artwork is incredibly varied but each image is filled with the love of startrek and Shatner himself. Some of the artwork is stunning, others incredibly clever. Each page is interesting and although I did not like every art style presented in this book, I certainly appreciated the sentiments behind them. Love Shatner? Get this book. Beautiful artwork. |
