About the Author
Connie Mantini, author of Shatter and Sew!, is a Reno, NV technical writer, sewer, and quilter. Combining her professional writing skills with her passion for documenting and preserving the Shattered ImageTM technique, she is uniquely qualified to create this book aimed to quilters, sewers, or artists who appreciate the fabric arts. Although she never had the opportunity to meet the late Ellen Adams, Connie Mantini devoted six years to write about the Canadian fiber artist's unique technique. During that timeframe, Connie spent six years sewing, quilting, researching, writing, editing and self-publishing the 88-page, full color book.
