I read the book, found it interesting and then wanted to see the movie.
They did a good job telling the true life story of Charlotte Fedders and her life as a young woman growing up in Towson, Maryland and the limitations on women in the 50's, 60's and 70's before equal rights for women.

Very good story line, excellent acting. The plight of spousal abuse and how it played out in this particular film was very well performed. Also, since the story was based on true events made it even more enjoyable. The tape when it arrived was new and in excellent condition.

I recently viewed this film with my mother. It is by far the greatest movie ever made. It displays a genuine commitment to bring to light issues regarding domestic violence and what can happen when the main characters wear eyeglasses that are 5 sizes too big for their faces. My fiance also saw the movie and could not believe that it went straight to video. We agree that multiple awards should have been won by this movie. What a picture.

I DIDN'T WATCH THIS YET, BUT I REMEMBER TO WATCH THIS AT TELEVISION. I THINK THAT IT WAS THE GOOD MOVIE. IT WAS NOT A TRUE STORY.
