SHATTERED: real title is SOMETHING TO HIDE,

I have the old Media OOP VHS tape and am guessing that the Simitar tape is just a rip of that source.The important aspect is that SHATTERED is a cut down version of the film at approx 85 min. The original British cut ran approx 95 min. This is a beautifully acted but very depressing downward spiral type of flick, with Peter Finch warming up for his role in NETWORK. Shelly Winters and Linda Hayden contribute fine portrayals as 2 women affecting his world for the worst. The uncut British home video is long out of print and impossible to find. Hopefully this will get a decent release sometime soon on DVD and in it's original form. |
