My son and I are big fans of Shaun the Sheep series (and Wallace and Gromit). The tiny space aliens made both of us laugh, and I'm continually amazed at the creativity of the entire series. The Hiccups story was funny--this time it's the sheep and not my son or the labrador who has hiccups. Some of the stories are better than others, but there is always something to make me smile, and that's a lot these days, eh? My son is non verbal, autistic and Down syndrome, so this series is easily understood by him, and it makes him laugh.

No dialogue is needed to show the hijinks of Shaun and his barnyard friends Bitzer, Shirley, and Timmy. Freewheeling and fun to the end, Shaun the Sheep: One Giant Leap for Lambkind includes to the episodes "Shaun Encounters", "The Bull", "Hiccups", "Bitzer Puts His Foot In It", "Save the Tree", and "The Visitor". Bonus features include "Sing-Along with Shaun" and a "Whack-A-Pig" game. 38 minutes.

My two sons, ages 2 and 5 1/2 years old LOVE Shaun the Sheep. We discovered Shaun and his friends purely by accident when a friend gave us one of the DVD's as a gift. After that, there was no going back and we own all the Shuan the Sheep DVD's currently available. Both boys love the clever stories and animation. One Giant Leap for Lambkind is no exception and they love the new story lines. My 5 1/2 yo practically hugged the UPS delivery man when he arrived. I like that the content is very kid friendly and appeals to "kids" of all ages, even me and my husband. We highly recommend this new DVD as well as the other Shaun the Sheep movies. My only complaint is that this is the shortest of all the DVD's available at only 35 minutes. It probably could have used one more episode on it but otherwise it is perfect! We look forward to the next one.

I usually adore Shaun the Sheep and was extremely excited to see a new collection; however, these fall short. My husband and I were debating whether their originality had worn off or whether these are just worse, and I think it is the latter. I still really enjoy previous collections and yet found myself wandering away in the middle of one of these stories.

Ever since I first discovered Shaun's adventures,my family and I have been delighted by the misadventures of the barnyard crew. Aardman has kept up the quality of production and story in this set of new adventures. We are all looking forward to the next set.

This is a fantastic change from today's generally banal cartoons. The art is well crafted, the humor in excellent form and the creativity of Shaun (and the writers) well over the top. This is an excellent addition to your library for young and old alike. I'm looking forward to more adventures with Shaun.

I love the Shaun the Sheep series, I can't wait for new ones that come out. Who said this show was just for kids, I am in my 40's and love it!

Adding the space aliens into the mix really livens up the atmosphere on the farm. Lots of fun adventures on this one.

I LOVE Shaun the Sheep, and I know my grandchildren will love him, too. This series of videos is so REFRESHINGLY innocent, in contrast to so much of "children's" entertainment. I don't have to worry about something 'nasty' sneaking into what they are watching.

Shaun the Sheep DVDs are wonderful. I think I enjoy them even more than my daughter. So many kids shows are mind-numbing for the parents/adults in the room and these are a wonderful antidote. I found one at the local library and now I have bought a few from Amazon. Very pleased and I would recommend it to any family.
