We are a family of four and it's hard to find a fun game that is multi-player. This game is fantastic! My ten and twelve year old daughters loved it. It gives you the option of using the balance board or wii remote. Only one person can use the balance board since most of the time you are all four playing at the same time, but that was fine for us. The balance board is a little touchy and hard to use at first, but definitely gets easier with practice. Controlling the game with the wii remote is much easier to learn. The game has lots of customization built in for character clothing and boards. The entire family can play in career mode and all the gameplay you do in career mode counts towards your goals. Definitely one of the best group play games!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best snowboarding game ever, November 15, 2009

I loved Road Trip, but really didn't think this game was going to be THAT much better. It was BECAUSE I loved Road Trip so much that I didn't think this could do more than measure up, which would have been enough to make the game worth playing. This takes the concept to a whole new level though. Instead of riding around for fun and doing random tricks with the occasional competition, this one is all ABOUT competition on a global scale. Travel all over the world again, but this time compete and gain in ranking as you do so. The levels are amazing and the challenges are plenty. The Balance Board makes this so much fun, adding a sense of realism that you couldn't get with the mote alone. An awesome game in a now awesome series.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. After watching the 2010 Winter Olympics he and my 6 year old son become Shaun White fans. So when

I heard this game was good for all ages I thought this would be good game for them to play together. I wasn't disapointed! They played for hours and to my delight my daughter loves it as well. This is a great family game good for all ages young and old,

male or female. We also enjoyed the music that is played in the background. I would definitely recommend this game. I didn't buy the snowboard accessory because I was afraid it would cause a fight as to who would get to play on it. They have just as much if not more fun without it. So, if you're worried about not having the snowboard accessory I would say it's not necessary.

Sean White Snowboarding is a lot of fun and at times frustrating. It took me about a week to work through the various stages and two attempts at the world stage to make #1, which makes it a lot quicker to "finish" than a lot of similar games. It takes a bit of time to get the hang of doing tricks (I used the balance board and single remote option) and I still haven't gotten the half pipe down very well, so there is still room to work. My only complaint is that the instructions are not very clear, particularly the player guide, which is rather cryptic, but if you don't mind learning by experimenting, it is a really good value,

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone!, September 14, 2011

I play this with just the Wiimote and love it. I bought it a couple of weeks after I bought Shaun White: Road Trip but I found this one a little easier to get through than the other so maybe start on this one if you're buying it for little kids. The graphics of the cities and mountains are great and having the crowds there heightens the moment. There wasn't anywhere that I got stuck, because the game rotates the events so you have a few ways to get through and climb your rank.

Only downside I found to this one in comparison to the other was that if you're on a run and do it badly and want to retry, you can't go out and change your character and come back to the same event, because it moves forward in weeks. You can do that in the other game. I can't quite figure out what all the little symbols mean when you're picking a new event either, I don't find it clear if I've completed it or not before I go in and have another try.

Trivial little issues though which don't affect how fun this game is.

Once you reach a milestone (top 75, top 50 etc) you then play as Shaun just for one event, which you have to get through to continue. Once you rank at number one (or maybe five, I can't remember) you unlock the character of Shaun. I got through most of the game using Jasmine and the great Flying Squirrel jump but really liked the control of Shaun once he was unlocked.

Word for the ego: Once you are ranked at #1 you can lose that ranking so remember to continue to be awesome. Music is great in this game, a mix of old and new and adds to the groove of the ride.

Buy this or Shaun White:Road Trip, they are both fantastic games and you don't need to be a snowboarder or even a fan of sport games to enjoy this.

We really enjoy this game. It is the first game my 50 year old body has really enjoyed. It is fun with my kids. Great use of the balance board (the exercise games aren't nearly as fun!)

This was awesome...we got the skateboard for the Wii Fit board to go with it and we are all having fun with it. The trails are awesome, the tricks are fun and it's definitely anything but boring. We played it all Christmas night...even boarding in Paris! Definite for Shaun White fans (which my son is whole heartedly).
