This is a rather small and light straight razor. It is very well made, but nothing like a "real full sized" DOVO straight razor. I wanted to dabble with a straight razor, but not spend too much money if I decided I did not like it. I already use a Double Edge Safety Razor, so I thought I would give this a try. The learning curve is high, but not to hard over all. Go slow, and DO NOT PRESS this thing on your face hard. Light pressure is all that is needed. GO SLOW, is all I can say. I think that while the cost is not too bad, the better price for a thing like this should be around $20 US Dollars.

Its a good razor. But do not order this from the shave factory, it took over 3 weeks for me to get my razor. Terrible customer service. I encouraged people to use this razor, but do not buy from the Shaving Factory! The customer service line is just an answering machine, you can't even talk to a live person.

For this price you can not expect it to perform like a true straight razor, but this thing gave me the closest shave since the last time I went to the barber. With 100 extra blades you won't have to worry about razors for something more than a year. Much better than up to 3 months of Mach3's at the same price and you help the environment by not using all that plastic.
