I'm giving this book five stars because it is a songbook of Shawn's music, which is great. But I am very annoyed with the review of this book on this page that claims that this book is filled with poetic verse, short stories, detective fiction, etc. Is that person on drugs? I bought the book based on that review and turns out it is simply a music book for piano and guitar of Shawn's songs. Nothing more. And no one except this one daffy reviewer portended that it was anything else. I wish Amazon would remove that review as it is completely misleading and totally false.

Great Book -- A Must for Any Shawn Colvin Fan!,

I had heard about this book from several friends who said it was great. I must say I wasn't disappointed! Shawn Colvin is a true artist both with her music and her writing. Anyone expecting a simple book of poetic verse is in for a big surprise here. Shawn's short stories combine detective fiction with the best Stephen King suspense. I particularly liked "The Telltale Heart" about a woman's buried (she thinks) past and "Witchy Woman In Paradise" which is about Shawn's travels to Afghanistan. Highly recommended! Five big stars!
