Kids ages 8-12 will find this a fine introduction to the Shawnee tribe, with over seventy pages of information detailing the Shawnee's history, encounters with white men, and the enigmatic nature of their past. There is less information available on the Shawnee than on other tribes: Dolan makes fine use of all available data to piece together a logical survey. -- Midwest Book Review
