Seeing the video of Shayne singing Over The Rainbow gave me goosebumps, and still does every time I watch it. And now, I can hear the song whenever I want on this amazing CD. What a voice this guy has. All of the contemporary songs are beautifully rendered, and the live Over the Rainbow cut is just a very fine bonus. I will no doubt be giving this CD to a lot of people this Christmas.

This is a way above average debut album for a youngster like Shayne. I do not skip a single track when I play this cd - and I play it often. I own 1,500+ CDs including Operas, Piano Concertos, Trance, Country, and a lot of Foreign Language music. Shayne Ward has a great future ahead of him - if he can stay in good management's hands. My favorite tracks are #3 "Stand By Me" & #11 "Better Man". If you like the music and singing of Irish Band "Westlife", you will be ecstatic about this cd - buy it!!!

Shayne Ward - the winner of the X-Factor in Britain, has a wonderful voice and is gorgeous. Although he did win the U.K. version of basically American Idol - do not let this deter you from buying the album. The song "Stand By Me" is a powerful love song - and is followed by some more pop inspired songs. American audiences will definately find the low points of the album the cover of Brian McKnight's "Back at One" and the cover of K-Ci and JoJo's "All my Life" - however he does a great job in covering those hits.

There are deficiencies in this album, however, for it's high points, it is well worth the purchase. Even if just for "Stand by Me" - which is not the original 60's version - it is worth it! Buy the album!

Shayne wards debut CD is a must have, he has an amazing voice and the songs are just very pleasant to listen to. i would recomend this to anyone

A wonderful singer. So, refreshing, he has his own way on singing a song and making it his own.

Shayne Ward is not only gorgeous on the outside, he is gorgeous all the way through. His voice touches my soul. I suggest everyone have a copy of this cd. I am buying a couple more because I am wearing this copy out. All my friends want a copy also.

Shayne has a outstanding voice, each songs in this album are beautiful. Enjoyed from the very beginning to the end. Everyone love real music, love beautiful melody and touching words should love this CD.

All i can say is the guy can sing. I heard the Over The Rainbow and i was pretty much hooked from the jump. I actually felt it when he was singing and when Shayne hit that high note. I was like yes this guy is for real. The cd is on point for the majority of it. Only two songs that i didnt really care for out of 13. So that should tell you that its a pretty good cd. The songs are soothing and just give you good feeling not only about them. But about the person singing them. His debut is a pretty good one and look forward to more of what he has to offer in the future. I believe he has another cd coming out sometime this year if i'm not mistaken.

But as it stands right now...check this one out. It will keep you more than occupied for quite awhile.

I came across Shayne Ward as a fluke while surfing through myspace one day...and it was by far the best fluke I've had in a very long time. This CD is absolutely amazing... It is definitely one of those CDs you use for a romantic evening for two... I HIGHLY recommend it!

This debut CD is fantastic indeed. Ward has a beautiful clear voice, which reminds me of Darren Hayes of Savage Garden. Enjoyable from start to finish!
