About the Artist

Susan Wood has been playing guitar and keyboards for 30 years, composing music for over 25 years, and singing since she was two years old. Although her first official solo performance was at age 11 at a Christmas concert singing, "What Child Is This," she got her start in country/western and bluegrass music and those roots continue to show through in her first Christian recording. Having performed in festivals, coffeehouses and other venues from Birmingham to Boston and all points in between, she has already covered a lot of ground and looks forward to promoting "She Speaks."

In the distant past, she made two recordings, one country music and one children’s music. With over 400 songs to her credit, Susan has planned several additional recordings in this genre as well as the country and folk music genre.
