and fortunatley not only do you get to listen to hear new album (with bonus tracks) you get to see her on the included dvd. I'm not trying to obejctitfy her but she is very beautiful, and I am just an honest healthy male, but that wouldn't matter if she didn't have the talent needed for me to buy the cd. I can always find pictures of her lol, but for me it's about the music, and she definitely is talented in that area. and her dance moves could put even britney to shame (though I am tired of people comparing her to britney, they are totally different people) One thing I do not like (and this isn't aimed at Shakira) is the trend to release a cd and then shortly afterwards come out with a deluxe edition. With this album I actually learned to wait. I knew there would be a deluxe edition, just like with Pink. I now know to wait.It's getting so that a person can't enjoy an album on the first day of release, if we buy it we'll get burned, so we have to wait, if artists/music labels were smart they would release them on the same day. i'd rather pay a few more dollars to buy the deluxe edition than pay for the initial release only to find there is a better version coming out. i feel that record copanies are trying to cheat me out of hard earned money. But, that aside, Sharkira is worth the price of this cd/dvd combo. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Though I just want to add, what is her obsession with Matt Damon? First Ben now Shakira. I'd definitely recommend this purchase. I am very happy with mine (I also collect cds, so this is a welcome addition to my collection, I want to someday pass on my collection, after I'm gone, and to me my record collection will represent me as a person, both what kind of person I am as well as the kind of music I loved...and in the end it's the music that matters, so if you love music, then I recommend you buying this.

If you have the chance to buy this version with DVD, do it. It includes an interview, live performances and the video, all presented in HQ and it plays fine in WMP (Windows XP) and any DVD player.

Wow, This is a must own set for Shakira fans, Even though I already had most of the songs. It was great to get this collection along with the truly amazing video dvd super quality entertaining and rare interesting interviews as well. Every time I see something new with Shakira it leaves me wanting more, the true sign of a genuine entertainer. This cd dvd set is my favorite item from her works so far, and I highly recommend it for all fans!!!

I must say that I bought this Deluxe Edition of She Wolf at target for $10 and that was a really good deal for a cd/dvd. I've heard a lot of albums over the years from pop, rock, latin, r&b, and more. But I have to say this is my favorite album of Shakira of all time with Sale El Sol coming in second. This album has redifinded pop music and the electronic/dance scene. After two years I still can't get enough of this album, I'm just amazed by it each and every time I listen to it. I love all the songs on this cd and think the dvd is cool too. I must say that Shakira became my all time favorie artist from her two albums She Wolf and Sale El Sol. I must say that no one can entertain better than Shakira. She is just an amazing artist and many years from now she will still recieve critical acclaim from her albums and tours. Allmusic editor Stephen Thomas Erlewine was dead on when he said "nobody makes better pop records in the new millennium than she does" and Jim Cantiello from MTV News was dead on when he said "is one of my favorite pop albums of the year (if not the decade -- yes, I said decade)". Also pick up Shakira: En Vivo Desde Paris CD/DVD set!

This is undoubtedly one of the best albums of Shakira. The tracks I like best are: She Wolf, Loba, Why Wait and Did It Again. The CD that was already great, was excellent in this Deluxe Edition, which includes live tracks and a bonus DVD. It is worth checking. I recommend!!

After feeling a little burned with the other 2 Shakira She Wolf CD's out there I was prepared to really rip into this CD/DVD combo but it actually is quite good & I recommend it. The CD part has 16 tracks ( but not really) that includes 3 versions of She Wolf ( 2 in English that sound identical) & one in Spanish called Loba as well as 2 versions of DiD it Again & Gypsy. The music is pretty good but what sells it is the DVD. There are 3 different videos & the one of She Wolf is the best video I have seen in the last 2 years. Shakira really delivers sexy as only she can, really superb video as well as a making of the video, Shakira interview & as hinted at videos for Gypsy & Why Wait live. Add to that the CD is enhanced & leads you her website for a free ( limited) membership of sorts ( there is some great content there)makes this a pretty good package. As well the liner notes have the lyrics & lest I forget 3 or 4 tracks are not in English. You decide but even as I write this I am not too far off giving this 5 stars but minimum 4 stars. If Shakira is a new artist to you this would be a good place to start your collection. A final note: I didn't have any problem playing the DVD on my player or on the Computer ( I have Windows Vista).

The music is fine and the CD plays as expected. However I tried running the DVD on Win XP machines with Media Player v9, v10 & v11. The DVD would not play with any of these programs. It freezes on the first frame.

The DVD plays fine on a MAC running OS 10.4.
The DVD plays fine on a standard DVD player.
