I got this before I got the furminator and even though the furminator costs more it is worth it. The blade looks the same but the angle of attack, or something, with the furminator is different and it makes a HUGE HUGE difference in the result. You get 10x, 20x, (I don't know it's huge) more with the furminator in the same amount of time. When I saw that the blades were the same I was worndering if I had wasted my money. I didn't see how there could be such a huge difference but there really is. Don't bother with this. Get the furminator.

I bought this product, and I was happy with it. Then it broke and the company said that it had a 30 day guarantee if bought from them. Otherwise bring it back where you bought it and see what they would do.

I was rather skeptical about this product, but figured I'd give it a try, taking the advertisers claims with a grain of salt. Anyone that doesn't realise by now that products advertised on TV never work as well...

Anyway I tried it on my 2 short haired cats. I barely got anything off my smaller cat, but that wasn't really a surprise as she's not much of a sheder. It worked really well on my other cat he's a big male that leaves hands full of hair on you when ever you just pet him. It pulled up almost another cats worth of hair. It did take me a few tries to get the hang of it. I found it worked best doing short kind of fluffing strokes that lifted the hair right out of the coat. I would then use my other hand to pet along where I brushed and grad the loose hair and a quick swipe to remove the hair from the brush. Worked great for me and was no where near as bothersome as some comments have said. Especially once you get into the rhythm of it.

My cats absolutely loved it! Yes it did take awhile, but alternating brushing and petting and it was a very enjoyable bonding time with my pets. :) Oh and I found a good solution to the problem of the cats not sitting still during the grooming. I brush them on my spare computer chair that swivels and I just turn the chair as they move around and keep right on grooming. I'm very glad I gave this product a try.

Oh man, we have so much fun combing our cats with this thing. The cat hair all over the house was getting annoying, so we thought we'd give this comb a try. It works WONDERS! We get almost no hair from combing one of our cats (I guess she's not a big shedder), but when we comb the other two cats, we get huge handfuls of hair. It is so satisfying! Love the swiveling head. The label "front" on one of the sides of the comb isn't very clear - is that side toward the front of the cat or in front as you comb the cat? It works well both ways. Love it!

It's not that this product doesn't remove some of the dog's fur, but it just doesn't live up to the name "Shed Ender". A flea comb removes almost as much fur.

This is a must have for all dog owners who have dogs that shed! My dog is a pug and you should only see the clunks of hair trapped in her coat this thing removes! It's simply unbelievable! Use this every day and shedding may be eliminated!

better than brushing, you actually get the job done in less time,both you and pet are happy, best to use only outdoors. WONDERFUL!

Saw this on TV and purchased online. We have a long haired cat and this is completely worhless. Get better results with a comb with steel pins spaces less than 1/16 apart. The Shed Enders teeth are too close together and too short to work on the fine hair of a long haired cat.

I've purchased this product in the past and was satisfied with how well it works combing out the dead hair on your pets. The product arrived sooner than expected and advertised. I does help with the shedding and the pivoting head does help combing from the left to right. I highly recommend this product.

This is a reat bang for your buck. I got this item for my 45lb Pug/Shar Pei, and let me tell you for an item under ten bucks its well worth the money! i spent quite a bit of time grooming him(only cause i've never deshedded him in the 10 yrs i've had him, more my mothers dog than anything) but it did wonders. Didnt hurt him at all, and he wasnt scared of it at all (my dog is a rescued dog that belonged to an abusive family previous to us) and he's scared of al most every silver or sharp looking object. In fact he loved it so much that after deshedding him he stood by me the whole day even when it was time for him to eat (and if anyone has a dog like mine, let me tell you they'll abondon their master for food lol)

If your looking for a high quality Deshedding tool to do all the work for you this is not the tool for you, but if you dont mind putting some time in with your loving family member then by this, i Highly recommend it!
