I have this book in the small board book size and now the lapboard size. The small book is great; however, the small size pictures fail to keep my daughter's interest. This large lap-size boardbook is a perfect combination between the durability of a board book with the large size of a picture book. Love it! It is too bad I ordered this as a baby shower gift because now I will have to order another one for myself. =)

This is one of the best early children's books. The illustrations are fantastic, and the words are fun to say aloud. The rhyming pattern is reminiscent of Seuss, and teaches phonological awareness in the same fun way. My son laughed and laughed at the sheep; and every child I've subsequently gifted with the book has loved it just as much.

This book is a favorite with our two year old son. And its short and sweet enough that I don't mind reading it every night like he wants to. It never gets old to him--he actually anticipates reaching the page where the jeep lands in the mud. Great memories to build.

I remember reading Sheep in a Jeep to my nieces and nephews a while back but I bought the Lap sized board book for my granddaughters ( need to fit two of them on my lap!). They are a little baffled and don't quite see the humor but I suppose it is asking a lot of 20 month old girls. I know they will enjoy it more as they get
older and I will make sure to bring it out at regular intervals. I certainly enjoy reading it as did my sister and my sister in law. I think that one of the marks of a good children's story is one that mom, dad, grandma and grandpa will enjoy reading as much as the children who are listening. After all, if it is cloying and sentimental mush, Mummy and Daddy might not pick it up again which will not serve the children quite as well!

I thought the price of the lap sized book was WAY over the top and would be quite happy reading them a regular lap sized book. My bad.

Our daughter loves this book!! She enjoys turning the pages while I read to her. The story is fun, and it makes our little one giggle!!

Great book. Very simple words, BIG pages which both my 2-year-old and 1-year-old love to turn. Cute little story, great illustrations. I am a jeep lover and would recommend this for any jeep lover. My daughter asks, "What happened, mommy?" in a very concerned voice at the end. :)

This is a reliably fun book. Sure to get great laughs.
Reciting it in the car helps to pass the time. Easy to memorize after reading it so many times!

Who doesn't love sheep in a jeep? Love this version of the book, the pictures are nice and big and colorful. My daughter loves it and always wants me to read it to her.

This one is in heavy rotation on the bedtime story list. Our two year old LOVES this book and we get a giggle at the drawings...particularly like the tattooed piggies! Great rhymes and smooth but easy story, very toddler appropriate!

We love the sheep books, and Sheep in the Jeep is particularly good! The phonics are great, but the artwork and silliness of the sheep are even better! My boys enjoy them and I enjoy reading them. I definitely recommend this little series, they're great for young readers too!
