The only reason that I gave this two stars is because the product itself is VERY attractive. But it isn't what it is described as being.
If you are looking for a leather sleeve, look elsewhere. I am sending this back. The product description touts it as "The ICON Leather Sleeve is a stylish and lightweight way to protect your iPad... The ICON Leather Sleeve is the perfect solution for your iPad!"
But the product is actually a VERY thin Vinyl. I think that ICON's other sleeves that are specifically described as "Sheep Skin Leather" might actually be leather.
I hope that this info helps somebody :)

When I purchased my iPad 2 I knew I wanted a classy leather sleeve. I looked around quite a bit and realized that most simple leather sleeves were going to run me $50-60 US, and the one I wanted wasn't going to be available for some time. So, I waited...
As I was slated to leave for a long trip within the week I realized that I was going to need some form of protection for my tablet. I turned to Amazon in search of a less expensive in-between solution and stumbled upon this ICON sleeve in the process.
I ordered it, it arrived and I haven't looked back since. AND I have no intention of buying the original, considerably more expensive, sleeve I once had my heart set on.
The ICON sleeve feels good in the hand, its simple design protects without complicating, and after 3 weeks of heavy use and international travel it appears to hold up well. As an added bonus I have received more compliments on it than I ever thought I would.
I'm happy to report that this sleeve has exceeded my expectations by quite a bit and I unreservedly recommend it to anyone looking to protect their tablet device.
A few things to note - it fits the iPad 2 quite well, and I imagine it would fit the original iPad even more snuggly, but can't vouch for how it might fit other devices as I have not personally tried them.
Though the sleeve is leather, it does not have that natural leather feel to it, but rather features a highly burnished and slightly shiny shell of leather (with some kind of micro-fiber suede-like lining to protect the fragile screen of your device.) If you're hoping for that uniquely tactile feeling that comes from thick grain lightly worked leather then you should likely look somewhere else, but then again, this item is only about $15 US, so bear that in mind.

The little leather loop that the top strap is supposed to go through is too tight to actually work. The rest of the case is fine, but you can't secure your tablet at all. I am returning this defective product because of the poor design.

Ver good quality
Exactly as described. Nice and snug, so wont slip out. Used with an ipad2. Leather is very soft.
