Sheet Suspenders are two (2) individual suspender straps made of the finest woven elastic that adjust to any size. Most importantly, Sheet Suspenders are easily slipped under any type/size mattress, even a baby’s crib to form a cris cross. There is absolutely no lifting of the mattress necessary and they need be applied only once! The four easy-open clips have nylon inserts that will not damage sheets. As seen on Good Morning America & Tested, Approved and Recommended by Good Housekeeping Institute for crib sheets. Perfect for any bed from Boats to RVs and even waterbeds. Sheet Suspenders was invented & patented in 1988, after an accident resulting in spinal cord surgery that left the inventor bedridden close to a year. While in bed she discovered there was no way to keep fitted sheets securely on the mattress, they kept slipping off the corners. With strict back limitations of "No Lifting or Bending", she invented the perfect solution! Sheet Suspenders . When changing the sheets, do not lift the mattress. The weight of the mattress keeps suspender straps in place. Lift four corners of fitted sheet a little, unclip. Put new sheet on and re-clip four corners. For all mattresses, first time: Put fitted sheet on. Lift corner of sheet & clip suspender strap to sheet, tuck sheet corner back under. Walk suspender along side of bed to the opposite (diagonal) corner, while slipping suspender under the mattress. lift corner of sheet & clip, tuck back under. Repeat steps 1 & 2 on opposite corners to form an "X". Slides should face foot of bed for adjustments.

I purchased these sheet suspenders and if these are new and improved, I can not imagine how poor the original ones were. Attempting to put on the sheets, the buckle which adjusts the straps tension broke. Upon close inspection, the buckle is found to be extremely cheap and flimsy. Very light weight metal which distorts and comes off the hinge pins with little pressure on the elastic. Speaking of elastic, the quality of the elastic was very poor. It had little memory or stretch, like if you found an old elastic in your late grandmother's attic that had been there for 40 years.
Only good thing I can say is the "jaws" which grab the sheet are well designed, but with the rest of the components very poor, there is no value. A chain is no stronger than its weakest line and this product has 2 of 3 links very weak. Oh yes, the packaging . . . it appears as though these were made in some second rate garage, slipped into a non-descript plastic bag with a photocopy of instructions, only to be stapled shut through the instructions, which were easily torn up attempting to open the plastic bag. Not a professionally packaged product, not that that would matter, except it confirms these are made a second class outfit out of Miami. Packaging does not indicate country of origin, but it makes Chinese products look good. Save your money. Do not purchase.

These work perfectly. We've tried 2 other kinds befor comming across these. Those others slipped all the time, their clips wouldn't hold and were hard to use (that was befor they broke). If your sheets won't stay on like ours wouldn't, get these suspenders. You may have to adjust the positioning of the clips after a few nights. The sheets will settle but with the easy to open and close clips, no problem.

They work but you need 3 or 4 for a large bed,

The Suspenders come in a pack of two, which works almost decently for a King bed. You put them in an X underneath the mattress, clip the ends onto the fitted sheet, and it will stay in place.
The only problem is that if your sheets don't fit well, you may need another suspender to go across the side where the fitted sheet will bulge.
