Story and illustrations were wonderful.

The title alone is ridiculous and I would not want to have to explain it to my child.

I love this book ! As a dog lover of mixed breeds for 30 years and a purveyor of fresh children's books too, this book is perfect ! The story is charming and the illustrations are whimsical ! Children will apply this story to "bi-peds" (people) too. It is obvious that Joy loves dogs and understands them. Thanks Joy !

I purchased this book as a Christmas present for my nephew as we have a dog just like the one in the story. He just loved it, I think we read it about 5 times that day.Very enjoyable with a theme that will hopefully translate to my nephews interaction with other kids. Although we look different this does not mean we are any less or more superior than others.

I bought this to read to the grandchildren. It would make a great gift as well. I'd guess it is a second grade reading level if bought for a child to read on its own. Creative and colorful pictures to keep the little ones interested if read to.

An excellent story for the little ones that carries the message of togetherness and friendship. You'll fall in love with Max and find yourself rooting for him all the way as he tries to remove the barriers between the full bred snoots and the mutts like himself.

Gene Barretta's illustrations are nothing short of adorable and help make this story come alive. One has to wonder if Max was really the one behind the so called designer dogs like Puggles and Labradoodles???? Hmmm?

This will make a lovely gift for any dog lover, young or old.

This book is great for children who love dogs! I'm a dog lover myself. This book has excellent meaning and can show children how to get along with one another even though one's different. Max shows children just how to do that when he was faced the situation himself and shows the other dogs that they all can get along with each other. This book makes a wonderful gift for any child!

I am an in home day care provider and have every award winning book for my children. I purchased this book and it immediately became the favorite of all. The preschoolers and toddlers were constantly laughing and saying SheetzuCacaPoopoo. Through our discussions they were able to understand the concept of feeling left out and how to be a good friend. The illustrations are so adorable. I would recommend this book for any age. If my day care children or even my three grandchildren could write this review they would say, BUY this book its so much fun to read!

"SheetzuCacaPoopoo" appeals to the dog lover on two main levels. The illustrations and story are appealing and the moral that one can be accepted regardless of their "pedigree" is told in a way in which Children can easily relate.

This book is adorable. I thought it would be another "celebrity written" book. Just a few quick words and done. But I was wrong. This had a very cute story and a nice moral. The kids loved it!
