A Great Add To My Library
on December 23, 2007
This was a 'best kept secret' to me. I just recently learned of it and purchased the DVD. I am very impressed and give it my high recommendation. It was done by Bob Jones University Film Department approx 1977 but don't think that means 'amateurish.' This was probably done as very low-budget in comparison to Hollywood offerings but it is a labor of love and high quality in every respect. The script, directing, actors (both main and supporting), filming, score -- all of these are very well done. The true account of Robert Griffey's life from conversion as young man to old age and finally his death is inspiring. The film runs over 2-hrs and I watched it in segments -- like reading a really good book. A 'special features' bonus gives insight to the great lengths the crew went to in turning out this excellent film.
