Decided to go for this set as part of a combo deal. Even though these are made in China, they are surpisingly well made. The weight, balance and grip are good on all pieces. The jaws on all pieces line up well and the open and closing action is smooth. The dykes and wire cutters cut clean and sure and the cutting edges seem like they will hold up well based on my use doing household wiring work. Very satisified, better than expected.

Comes with free shipping and a bonus 8" aluminum torpedo level with magnetic strip that, believe it or not, is made in the USA!!! The pliers, made in China, appear sturdy. The handles could have had a nicer padded plastic grip, but for the money, this set simply cannot be beat.

For the price, you cannot beat this set...nice selection of pliers that will do for 99% of what you need pliers for. The quality is great considering the price - comfortable handles, nice fit/finish and solid feel.

I spend my day running from jobsite to jobsite. Unfortunately, anyone who does this type of thing can tell you this causes you to eventually forget or lose tools. I learned my lesson and quit buying expensive tools just because it was too frustrating when I lost them.

I bought these expecting some trashy, but acceptable for the money tools. I was completely suprised. I use the linesman plyers and snips daily for cutting tie wire and bonding wire, neither have dulled. The rest of the set has not been used as much but I have been completely satasfied when I do use them. The finish has lasted well, some small scratches but I dont really care what they look like. The grips are soft enough for comfort but not so soft that gripping tightly becomes a problem.

Yes, these are made in China, but so is the Lowes store brand set I bought previously. They sure have all of the HarborFreight tools beat hands down. These are just as nice as all but the most expensive tools in my box.

I just bought my second set to keep in my 4x4 for field repairs.

I got these just to get free shipping, didnt really expect them to be real tools.. but surprisingly they are alittle better than the garbage being sold in dept stores. The nickel plating is extremely thin and wears off after some use. The cutters surprisingly survived a couple of uses and i expect them to last about a month or 2 before they get dull. Overall these are good if you want to give your lindstrom/knipex a month long vacation.

I was skeptical about ordering the set. How good can they be for $14 ? To my surprise they were well worth the price. They are comfy in my hand, they feel sturdy, and they grip well. When I go to the hardware store I compare what set I can get for $14, and I can't find anything that compares for under $20. I even like them better than my black-handled Craftsmans. They are not channellocks, nor will they replace my channellocks, but at 1/4 the price I couldn't go wrong.

I purchased this set for myself to have in the house for the little projects that come up. My other tools seem to "walk off" when I'm not looking. I assume this matched set should be more identifiable...so maybe I'll have better luck. :)

At a glance, the tools all appear to be sturdy and well made. It's a smaller set than some, with most pliers only 6" in length, which is fine for my purpose and less bulky to store. The padded handles are comfortable and look like they will hold up to some use. I'd definitely recommend this set for general home repair use, and at Amazon's price it's a great deal. It even came with a couple of discounted and bonus tools when I bought it.

This item was made in China. However, the steel, and the fit and finish is quite a bit better than other "bargains." Recommended.

Units work great for general use. Heavier use or any regular garage use, go to Sears and invest. Overall, generally good product for the price.
