Review

"Marton takes palace intrigue, wraps it in the sexy silk of an Arabian night's dream and then throttles up the suspense in Sheik Seduction." FANTASTIC--Keeper -- Romantic Times BookClub Magazine

Product Description

She had planned to be all business, but nothing could have prepared Sara for the strength and sensuality of Sheik Tariq Abdullah. When they met, she couldn't help but respond to the magnetism of this powerful man.

Born to rule, Tariq was used to being obeyed. When their convoy was brutally ambushed and the honey-haired American consultant Sara Reeves was attacked, he'd do anything to protect the woman at his side.

Trapped in the desert, surrounded by unseen enemies, he would fight to get Sara to safety...but they couldn't fight a desire hotter than the burning sands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Read!, January 17, 2008

(REAL NAME)
Rarely have I ever read a book that held my interest like "Sheik Seduction!" The characterizations, the plot and the growing sexual tension between the main characters are absolutely wonderful, the pacing, breathtaking.....And from the first moment, you get a true "feel" for the Arab way of life, their value system and of the tensions there that rule their lives.

When Sara Reeves arrives in Beharrain, she hopes to negotiate an oil deal between her company and Sheik Tariq Abdullah, and then be on her way back to the states. She doesn't expect her convoy to be ambushed in the middle of the desert by terrorists and left to fight for survival accompanied by the only other survivor--a darkly handsome and charismatic employee of the Sheik's. Or, is he?.........

I don't want to spoil the book for you by reviewing the storyline any further. Just believe that if you purchase this book, you are in for a heart-stopping adventure that will keep you turning those pages well into the night. I simply could not put the book down.

Ms. Marton is an extraordinarily talented writer who will keep you on the edge of your seat by supplying one cliff-hanger after another, and I plan on reading every one of her books that I can get my hands on.

More About the Author

DANA MARTON writes fast-paced action-adventure romances that take her readers all over the globe. She is a RITA AWARD finalist and the winner of the Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence. She loves writing stories of intrigue, filled with dangerous plots that try her tough-as-nails heroes and the special women they fall in love with. Her books have been published in seven languages in eleven countries around the world.

--Okay, the above version is the glamour version for press releases. The truth is that my path to publication was nothing but unglamorous. I wrote for 13 years and completed 4 books (as well as having others in various stages of completion) before I finally received a call from a Harlequin editor. I was beginning to wonder if I was being tenacious or just too dense to know when to quit.

But it all worked out at the end! I love, love, love writing and would spend all day in front of the computer if I could just break my family of the habit of wanting to eat and wear clean clothes. What's up with that? But I must get up from the desk now and then, if only because my Internet connection goes down or my ancient PC overheats. Then I do enjoy cooking, knitting, hunting for treasures at the flea market, our Beagle, Peanut the Destroyer, and gardening.

I'd love it if you picked up one of my books and emailed me to tell me what you thought of it. I've been known to name characters after readers. Just ask Princess Judi.
