Book Description

February 1, 2000
One night of electrifying, primitive lovemaking with Sheikh Arash Khosravi and Lana Holding had never let another man touch her. Separated by circumstance, she despaired of seeing him again. But their reunion proved bittersweet. For pride and pain had made her strong sheikh ruthless and as cold as the blizzard they were stranded in....

Arash had risked his fortune to save his beloved country. And so he could promise gentle Lana no future. But solitude with the breathtaking beauty was too tempting for his noble resistance. Surrendering to the woman who was his torment, his delight, he vowed to have her forever. Could he keep her when he had nothing to offer...but himself?

4.0 out of 5 stars A Sweet Love Story, June 26, 2000
This review is from: Sheikh's Temptation (Sons of the Desert) (Desire, 1274) (Paperback)
If you love the Silhouette Desire series than this book is a must read. I was fascinated by the mid-eastern culture in the story.

Lana Holding is the daughter of an American billionaire. She shares an apartment with an Arabian woman in college, Alinor. The two remain friends even after a war rips Alinor's country apart. Sheikh Arash Khosravi is a man with a home that has been battered and pillaged by war. He is in love with Lana but he can't marry her without wealth or anything to offer his bride to be.

Lana and Arash's friends scheme to unite them by sending them off across the desert together. The two fight the attraction they feel for each other but that is hopeless because of the chemistry between them. Lana and Arash realize they must put aside the past and build a future together.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a wonderful series, June 14, 2000

I just love this Sons of the Desert series. There are three brothers, each of them has his own kingdom. This one is the third in the series, and there are two more after it. I love them all. This one is really nice, Prince Rafi is sooo romantic and special. He falls in love with Zara at first sight and then has to convince her. But she gets kidnapped, so before he can convince her, he has to rescue her! I hope there are going to be lots more in this series.

this book deserves a negative star because it has a spineless heroine. she tried to buy the hero. she knew he had problem taking her money and she kept throwing at him. she always made the first move. she did most of the work in the relationship. she did not have any dignity. it was hard to like her.
