This is a great buy. It entertains, teaches, and is very durable.

Gave my daughter this for her first birthday. She LOVES it. The truck moves, which is fun and she enjoys putting the shapes (and other things) into the truck. She also will turn the truck on its side to put the shapes into it.

2 flaws: 1) there are not enough shapes - just one of each; and 2) the kids really have to turn the truck sideways to fit the shapes through the holes. But, really, everything else about the toy is so great, I'm ordering some for friends.

There is no on/off switch! That's drives us crazy when we need put this toy away and it still makes noises.

Why would anyone pay so much for a toy when it's only worth about $15? The toy might be fun, but not at this price!

I bought this truck for my daycare kids and they loved it. one of the shapes was a little hard to push through but the others went in fine. You press in the head of the driver and the truck makes sounds like it's reving up. after a couple seconds it starts going by itself. we were using it on carpeting and it went over it easily. it then stops and after a couple seconds it starts going again. it is a sturdy toy and the boys played with it for a long time.
I was very impressed with it. you do need a screwdriver to get it out of the box. I've not seen toys screwed in before but it was.

This toy is fun for toddlers. My baby's family day care has this toy. The kids are really having fun with this dump truck. This size of this truck is just right for toddlers. It seems kids mostly play with this toy as a dump truck instead of a shape sorter. Well, most of the shape are missing anyway. Overall, it is a fun toy.

The shapes slide easily through a toilet paper roll and are therefore NOT SAFE for babies due to being a choking hazard. By the time your child is 3 or so and stops putting everything in his mouth, they won't be interested in such a baby toy.

This is a great toy. My grandson loves it so much, I bought one for a friends grandson. My grandson loves chasing it around. I also don't think this is a chocking hassard. Though I watch him when he plays with any toys that have smaller parts, these seem way too large to even stick in his mouth, more a less cause a chocking hassard. I love the way this truck takes off when Jonny hits it, and he chases after it. Then it stops and starts up again on it's own, surprising and delighting him. He spends more time dumping the shapes out the back than putting them in through the holes, but he does enjoy this toy. It's colorful, just large enough but still easy for him to handle. I think it was money well spent.
