Great little book for beginners to carry around, to check their shells and learn about the care of their shells.

A sweet little reference book, though abbreviated. It is sufficient for the ameteur shell collector curious about their finds.

On a recent trip to Pensacola, Florida, we picked up a nice variety of beautiful seashells and this little book made it easy to identify each one. The book features color photographs of over 300 commonly found seashells from many beaches in the world. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase; it exceeded my expectations.

This is the perfect book for identifying the common shells. My nephew will use it for a school project.

This small book had a ton of pictures which is great but it had no accompanying descriptions. It only had a picture, the common and proper name, and where it can be found. This is only somewhat helpful. This book may be helpful if you already have a field guide but it doesn't have enough pictures so you could use this one to supplement. I would not recommend it if it is the only book you are getting and you want to accurately identify your shells. But if all you want is pictures then it is pretty good.

This is the easiest shell book out there. Just pictures with a short description of each. Short, simple, to the point.
