Beautiful 5" dia, Hand blown glass Sand & Shell Globe. Hollow on the inside and half filled with exotic sand and colorful seashells that are free to move when you shake the sphere. Bury the shells, then shake the sphere. Watch the shells float back to the top, creating a new unique beach scene every time. Our hand blown glass is crystal clear, thick and very durable. I had ordered this product and left a review/message because I hadn't received it. The same day I was contacted that a new one would ship. I have since received the 5 inch sandglobe and cannot seem to take my eyes off of it. I roll it over and over and am completely taken in by the moving sand revealing different shells every time. It is much larger than I anticipated, more beautiful that I expected, and I was very impressed with the customer service I received. It is a great quality product. I'm truly impressed.

This beautiful paperweight allows me to take a beach vacation any time I wish.
The sands are ever changing and always beautiful. I particularly like the fact that I can remove the bottom and change the items on the beach.

When my three Dune Sand & Shell Sandglobes(3,4,and 5inch ones,)arrived I was in heaven. They arrived safely and timely and with much to my delight, stories to tell within them. If you use your trusty imagination,as I do, you can almost hear Heathcliff calling for Cathy from the 5inch globe, and from the 4inch one, you can hear the padding of little feet, and I mean really little, sandpipers and seagulls as they wander from shell to shell. Finally, the 3inch one is so whimsical, you feel like you are holding your own little universe, so pristine and beautiful, and like the others, you can hear, the cry of the seagulls, or characters from your favorite books who traversed the coastlines, waiting for you to pick them up and remember them. All of this just from saving pennies to buy them so I can keep one and send the rest as gifts at Mother's day, or whenever you want. It's your world and Dune/Amazon makes it possible to hold a piece of history, or romance or whatever flights of fancy your mind can take you on, just by using your noggin, and imagination. By the way, I bought another three more, as really special gifts. Once you get one, I think you will agree, it is worth so much more than the mere mundane price you pay, you get back your once-in-a-blue-moon childhood summertime visits to the sea. And that my friends, is priceless.
