Richard Meier once again hits the mark, letting us into his personal world, managing to make us feel what he does.
I'm sure others can be more erudite in their criticism or praise of this genre but all I know is that I love this work and wish he would publish more.

Smart, sad, lovely, crafted poems. In his end note he writes: "This book is given, with gratitude, to its readers" -- Meier's heart is in the right place, the place of the reader. His craft is paramount. I really recommend this. Lovely good poems.
