3.0 out of 5 stars Not As Expected, October 12, 2011
With a title like "The Animal Shelter Mystery," I was hoping that the story would have focused more on the actual shelter. It probably wasn't the author's intent to do that, but it feels like a misssed opportunity. Kind of slow moving in spots, which kept me from giving a higher rating. Still, if your young reader likes animals, it's well worth reading.
