This book is a great workbook for survivors of sexual abuse who want to be healed of the pain, shame and effects of the abuse. It goes step by step through the process needed giving sound Biblical support for the healing process. It is not an easy process, but this book gives one a very good start at healing and being an overcomer, not just a survivor. Too bad it is out of print.

This workbook is an excellent compilation of sexual abuse recovery material. It's appropriate for all different types of sexual abuse, and all different levels of recovery. A previous reviewer mentioned that this book is out of print, which is incorrect. The workbook, as well as the facilitator's guide, may be ordered directly from McGee Publishing.

I have been using this book in support groups for the last 3 1/2 years. In that time, I've lead 6 or 7 groups...so I've been through the study 6 or 7 times. I am challenged and refined again every single time!! The very first time, I remember thinking at the end of each day that I needed to send an encouraging email to my ladies to help soothe whatever pain/memories were brought up with the day's lesson, but then I found the following day that the BOOK addressed exactly what I was thinking every time. This process works!! The materials are outstanding and God is faithful to heal. The book can be purchased directly from McGee Publishing.

I'm a counselor and this book is a great resource for helping clients who can identify with the subject of this book!
