The item shipped immediately and was up in my backyard within 3 days of placing the order. The canopy was fairly easy to assemble by myself and met all of my expectations. There were plenty of anchors and bungee cords included and the only thing that would make this product better would be some sort of storage/carrying bag to put all the poles and parts in when not in use. It was perfect for my backyard party. Make sure you get the anchors set as with any structure of this type.

This 10x20 canopy with extensions is a versatile shelter for outdoor gatherings. I used it for an all-day event and adjusted as the event changed.

First we had guest speakers which I set up under a separate 10x10 against the 10' end of this unit and used its entire space for seating. You can fit 4 chairs under the extension and another 2 into the main area on each side which gives you a total of 12 seats in a row with a center aisle. With 7 rows we had 84 seats in the 20x24 extended space. We could have cut 8 seats and fit everyone under this canopy. Next, we set up tables for kid's activities. Using 6' long tables, we easily fit 6 into four activity stations. Finally, when it got windy we dropped one side to shield the area and still had everything covered.

First time out of the box (ONE 117 pound box!) it took me, alone, about four hours to set up. Three hours of that was fixing pipes deformed in shipping which didn't quite fit together. Also, a couple of the "swedged" pipe ends had to have paint filed off to fit together... and they're still together standing in the corner of my garage. I believe the pipes fitting together tightly contributes to the sturdiness of the structure, but some are a pain to work with.

There were some moderate wind gusts the day I had this canopy up. The main section held solid, but the extensions flapped a bit. Even though I had the ropes as tight as I could get them, the flapping broke three of the rope tensioners. These are very difficult to adjust anyway configured as shown in the directions. I'm going to take them off and learn how to tie a proper knot for the application.

One last thing... I'm about 6'2" and my hair rubs when I stand under the extensions. That's a little annoying. The main section is comfortable and the peak is about as high as I can reach standing on a chair. If ShelterLogic works out a couple small issues, they'll have an excellent product! I hope they ship it in two boxes.

I really like this tent I bought it for BBQ cookoffs for shade and the only complaint I have for it is that it is a little difficult to put up on concrete! I just put a few more cinder blocks on the trailer to tie it up to!Other that that its great and easy to put up. A real space saver.

We bought this canopy on Amazon for a wedding. It went up in about 45 minutes. May go up quicker with experience. It looks really nice when up and covered 6 round tables easily. The sides came with my canopy and can be put up or down. The poles held together really well. It comes with plenty of ties and pole supports. I haven't tested it in the wind, though. (Thank goodness the wedding day was wind-free.)I am very pleased with it and highly recommend to others. Also, it shipped very quickly. The box did arrive rather beat up and torn. I would hope the supplier would wrap in plastic or something to protect the parts better. In spite of that, everything arrived in perfect condition and I give the canopy high marks.

This product was a replacement for a pop up tent that was destroyed by wind. That being said we were looking for a product that was much more durable. This tent definitely did the job by withstanding a rainstorm beating. The poles are durable and easy to assemble. The labeling on each piece could have been simpler. Place part CF105 into CF103 could have easily been put part A into part B. That being said it was not difficult to put together once all pieces were found.

Pros: Durable tent with relatively easy assembly. Tip... put the roof together first and secure the canopy top before putting on the legs. Easiest with about 4 people to assist.

Cons: Pieces do not lock together. They are held together with the tension from the tarp. Do not attempt to move once assembled. Will prob fall apart.

Additional: Purchased the optional extensions for this product... would not recommend the extensions. They are lower than the height of the tent and sink into the ground. Made it awkward for people to walk under.

This is a great idea in theory, however it just isn't right. The main canopy is great & easy to put together. It took four of us to get the canopy over the poles, but that was the hardest part of getting the main part together. The extensions didn't make sense. They needed feet on each of the poles to stake into the ground. The grommets need to match up on the extensions with the main canopy. Overall, the canopy with extension is not great. The main canopy is though. We've had the canopy up for a few days now & it is holding up very well. We are using it as a canopy over a produce stand. We'll see how well it holds up to the Alabama summer sun & rains.

I was looking at ebay and many other stores for a quality canopy, reusable for 5 years. Did NOT want those plastic poles and Cheap looking light weight canopy that can not withstand light windy.
THIS IS THE PERFECT CANOPY I was looking for. I used this tent for a backyard party with ~100 people. Good Price and Quality is DAMN good. Overall look is great. Not Cheap.
Good quality canopy. Heavy duty Pole. Easy setup. If you have little slop, try putting more homemade anchors (Long nails+ropes) or tie ropes to fence! Had it stay overnight. No issue. Yet, do NOT use it more then few days.
Almost everyone in the party liked it. I bought it from Kmart for about $200. Why spent $250 for one day Rental???

I am so disappointed with this purchase. we picked it up as a canopy for our boy scout troop to use in bad weather figuring it would give us more space for our growing troop to sit under. Frankly, I wouldn't put it up for an afternoon let alone a weekend. The top middle pole continually pops out each time the canopy shifts. The sheating is flimsy and the 1 3/8's poles twist and bend. Spend the extra money on the 2" poles maybe that would be more secure... so why didn't I return it immediately? Because one of the geniuses in my troop spray painted the pole to color code them for ease of set up before we even set it up.... brilliant now we are stuck with it. that is until the first breeze then it will no doubt rip in half!

Excellent for the price and service it provided. It would have cost more to rent a comparable tent from a local vendor. The only drawback is that the shipping charge was 1/2 the cost of the tent. The tent, however will have other uses during the upcoming spring camping season. Overall a good value with the exception of the shipping charges.

Excellent Purchase. I bought it to use for parties. Goes up quite easily & is very sturdy.
