Book Description

2002
Qigong is the practice of distinctive movements for the cultivation and mastery of qi, or life-force energy. Widely practiced in Asia, qigong has recently become popular in the West as an approach to overall health and well-being. This fully illustrated book shows Master Li Jun Feng demonstrating the thirty movements of Sheng Zhen Healing Qigong Parts 1 through 3. Man lives in the universe. Because he is of the universe, to be well, he has to experience himself as being merged with the universe, being one with all, living in the state of flow. The key to this state is the heart. Guided by the heart, with qi in one s body interchanging ceaseless with that in the universe, the body s polluted and ailing qi can be eliminated, restoring the body s immunity. The yin and the yang of the body become balanced and the internal organs can function normally. When you practice this form of qigong, relax the body and with a smile on your face and in your heart, free from any form of pressure, go through each movement with the heart leading, doing it with feeling rather than the mind. Enjoy the movements. In this way, you will achieve results beyond your expectations.
