yep, it's a doorstop
It kept the door open and didn't slip in the carpet, though the wedge was a bit thick

Only good for doors with large gaps.
These are just fine if your door has a large gap between it and the floor (1.5 inches or more) but if you have less than a 1.5 inch gap then you will want a smaller door stop.

It works great, it's a doorstop. Sometimes I get carried away and want to buy everything online and while this saves time, I really should have bought this locally as I paid way more than I should have.

It does it,
This door stop does what the name implies, it stops the door. I have smooth tiled floors and its surface is difficult to grip, but the 'do it door stop' grips and keeps the door in place. My only complaint is the top of the door stop crushes as you chuck the door on to it.
