Douglas Dales is Chaplain of Marlborough College, Wiltshire, UK. He read History and then Theology at Christ Church Oxford and was ordained in the Church of England in 1977. His interests include New Testament and Patristic theology, monasticism eastern and western, and Anglo-Saxon church history. He is married with three grown up children and has a home in Oxford. He has many ecumenical links abroad including Mount Athos. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. His interests include travel, art, walking, gardening and music.
