5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for boys and girls., April 17, 2000
This review is from: Sheriff at Waterstop (Paperback)
Starting over without a lot to go on, former saloon keeper, Felix Jenson, brings his wife and son west. At the little town of Waterstop he finds out just what life can be like so far from the law. You have to keep your head clear, and a hand on your gun. Due to his quick thinking, Jenson is offered the job of sheriff, to his son's joy. Bret has hopes of being made a deputy.

Sheriff Jenson is good. Really good. He knows how do deal with tough guys. Life is looking up for the Jensons. Then a strange boy named Joseph shows up, and somebody holds up the bank. Can Waterstop's new Sheriff handle all of this?

Sheriff at Waterstop is an exciting book about the West and a family's faith. How does Christianity affect the job of a Sheriff? How does it affect the people you meet? This book is especially good for boys between eight and twelve years of age.
