Accessible Version For The Young Reader,

I am reading this version to my 8 and 6 year olds. This is a story that I have read many times, and enjoy very thoroughly. The type is large, and languages is not condescending, but easily grasped by my kids. There are plenty of illustrations throughout the book, and a cast of characters - with simple introductions - is in included in the beginning of the book.
This series of books is a great way to get kids interested in the 'great works'. We have purchases a number of them, and so far the kids love them all.

My 10-year-old just picked this book up and read it and thought it was a great book and now wants to read more Sherlock Holmes stories.
